Web Application Developer (WPF) Job Posting

Position: Web Application Developer (WPF)
Location: Burnaby

Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) experience is a MUST to qualify for this position.

We are looking for an experienced software engineer with experience in desktop application and server programming.
The ideal candidate has 5yrs experience in development utilizing JAVA or .NET C# - backend/online services.
You must have at least 1-2 years in C# (rest can be JAVA) and 1-2 years of WPF experience developing a production application.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop high performing and quality code
Apply knowledge of industry best practices and trends/developments to improve software development process
Perform thorough testing (including stress testing)
Take ownership of application development tasks and provide accurate time estimates, identify dependencies and risks
Adapt quickly to change in requirements and be willing to work with different technologies

Qualifications/Requirements:
Must have experience in application development utilizing .NET, C#, Web Services (e.g. WCF)
Must have experience working with WPF
Experience in relational database development utilizing Microsoft SQL Server
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Be a team player and enjoy collaboration with other engineers and teams
Experience with software version management systems (e.g. Perforce)
Experience with task/bug tracking software (e.g. JIRA)
