CONTRACTORS WHO ARE INCORPORATED WILL BE CONSIDERED FIRST
THIS IS 6MS TO 1 YEAR CONTRACT WITH A FULL-TIME OPTION AFTER THE END OF THE CONTRACT
( Client Name Withheld) is a leading independent provider of advisory, business consulting, IT and software services to the investment banking community, counting some of the world's foremost financial institutions amongst our clients. Employing over450 staff and associates across our City of London HQ, New York and Toronto offices, plus our near shore development facilities in Spain and Poland, we offer end-to-end solutions, covering all aspects of advisory, execution and support services. Our domain specialisms include: Securities Finance, Prime Services, Risk Management, Trading, Legal & Compliance and Operations. Our delivery specialisms include: advisory and execution services in system development, user-centric design, software development, integration, testing, on-going support and IT outsourcing.
JAVA SERVER DEVELOPERS ONLY - NOT WEB
The requirements to build the infrastructure which will calculate pricing, risk, and other trading functions. The work is writing interfaces and infrastructure to support trading in the products.
Our client's team will consist of up to 10 developers to work with their local architects and team based in NYC, UK, Poland and Ireland.
Note: All Developers being hired now will be located in Mississauga, Ontario.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Core Java (focus on "Nuts &Bolts" development - ground up dev. on Greenfield application)
- Multi - Threaded Development
- Real-Time systems
- Messaging
- Garbage Collection
- Memory Profiling (memory usage functions & optimization)
- Spring/Hibernate (nice to have)
- IONMarketView& FIX (added bonus, not required)
- Agile Methodology
Must be able to legally able to work in Mississauga, ON immediately
