We are seeking a motivated Account Executive with technology sales experience. This is an opportunity to be on the ground floor of a new territory. The Account Executive will promote the sale of best-of-breed network integration, IT consulting services, VoIP, switching and routing. You must have demonstrated success selling to enterprise level clients; you must have a proven record of finding and closing new business; and you must have a record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas. This position will be based out of our office in Harrisburg, PA; and will have a focus on sales in the SLED space.

Compensation

Vector Resources offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision coverage for employees, paid vacation, and a 401K matching program. Commissions are not capped.

Qualifications
• Must have experience and knowledge of computer networking hardware--HP (Hewlett-Packard), Cisco, Alcatel, Brocade, Avaya, etc.
• Vendor certifications are a decided plus
• Advanced selling skills with a demonstrated track record
• Must have a robust book of business
• Thorough understanding of all company IT solutions and services, including voice and data solutions, security solutions and consulting services
• 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 3 years of outside sales experience selling voice/data solutions to state and local government.
• Minimum 3 years experience selling into the K-12 (E-rate) space.
• A proven record of meeting/exceeding quotas, with excellent negotiation and closing skills
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence others
• Valid state driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for significant local travel to clients

Primary Responsibilities
• Lead generation and acquisition of new customer database from cold calling into high levels within prospect organizations, networking and various customer account lists. Prepare strategic plans regarding: Daily activities, lead generation, customer contact, and structure of calls and appointments and follow-up

• Determine customers' needs via consultative selling; generate multi-product solutions
• Explain and demonstrate products and recommend creative solutions regarding how they may be used. For complex technical solutions a Sales Engineer will be available as part of the sales team.
• Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts
• Establish and maintain current and potential client relationships
• Activate and maintain contract services
• Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up
• Identify and resolve client concerns
• Prepare status reports capturing activity results, sales forecasts, marketing campaign results and closed sales
• Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close and install sales opportunities and projects
• Participate in marketing events
• Follow-up for collection of payment
• Coordinate with Operations to insure completion of projects in timely manner
