My client is seeking a candidate with strong Perl, Linux, Bash Scripting and MySQL query experience to maintain, develop and support back-end software in a process critical environment.
My clients company has been operating as a business for 10 years and currently supports 8000 clients and 40,000 users. Our core business is to gather operational data from our clients and present that data to them on a client facing website allowing them to better manage their businesses.

Suitable applicants will have at least a bachelor's degree with concentrations in computer science, computer information systems or related fields.
5 or more years' experience in general programming and Perl, Linux, Bash Scripting and creating MySQL queries.
Must possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Must communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with team members, staff, and clients.
Must have the ability to perform multiple projects concurrently while concentrating and paying close attention to detail.

This is a work from home position. Applicants must reside within 50 miles of Chicago and be willing and able to meet with other team members locally as needed.
