Duties:
• Ongoing management of release 11g Oracle OBIEE Business Intelligence Environment
• Expanding development of OBIEE Design for new /first time OBIEE user enterprise
• Training of staff for administration, technical support, report development
• Training of staff for full use of OBIEE Meta Data and Dashboard development capabilities
Skills/Qualifications:
• 10+ years of IT experience with end to end design development & deployment of BI Platforms
• More than 5 years of business intelligence/OLAP/CPM/data mining experience required
• Must be proficient with OBIEE, OBIEE+, BI Publisher and Smart view in 11g version.
• Must have 7 years overall Business Intelligence experience.
• Must have 6 years OBIEE design development experience.
• Must have 3 years' experience data modeling in OBIEE, Oracle BI Answers, Oracle BI Interactive Dashboard, Oracle BI Publisher as well as BI Delivers.
• Must have 2 years' experience in OBIEE report development utilizing SAP ERP data as a primary source for report
• Must have experience in OBIEE implementation that utilized ODI as a primary ETL methodology.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and Certification(s) in Oracle /Oracle BI, with advanced degree a plus.
• Position requires hands on experience with OBIEE 11g implementation, meta data /RPD definition /Schema development
• Hands on extensive work-product development of dashboards, and related financial and operational analytical reports utilizing full features provided by OBIEE 11g such as drill down and tabular and graphical presentations.
• Position also entails ongoing planning /design of an expanding Oracle OBIEE based Data warehouse which links star and snowflake schema to provide consolidated analytical reporting from mixed data sources, including data from SAP, Oracle and Microsoft Sources.
Leadership and Other Experience:
• Ability to plan and execute mid-sized technology projects
• Ability to self-manage and work independently
• Analytical and oral/written communication abilities
• Communication skills include ability to teach / transfer knowledge to technical and end user staff
• Must be highly productive and have sense of urgency, with a desire to be a part of a results-oriented team
• Experience in manufacturing / distribution / sales and order processing applications highly desirable
