Project Description: In Service Performance (ISP) management of the mobility network.
Job Description: Provide remote troubleshooting of cell site related issues with emphasis on sector and cell sites OOS restoration (Ericsson, Alcatel-Lucent, Nokia, Siemens and Nortel RAN platforms). This position will be responsible for processing of reports to identify Chronic RAN issues and facilitating timely repair. This person will escalates cell site outages and facilitates to accomplish timely repair and improve MTTR. Position will require weekend work hours. This person must have a minimum of 3 years RAN experience that includes the troubleshooting and repair of Cell Site/BSC/RNC type issues. Must have experience with a minimum of two of the RAN vendor technologies listed above and as well as an understanding of transport technologies (T1/T3/ATM/Ethernet) RF and Performance Engineering experience is desired but not required Candidate must be available to handle 24X7 On-call responsibilities when scheduled. The manager is looking for a candidate with Ericsson GSM and UMTS Ran experience. The candidate must have at least 1 year break/fix experience at the cell site level.
