We're looking for a talented, tech-savvy Web Producer.
The Web Producer will be primarily responsible for updating/maintaining our websites (via Wordpress, XML) and creating beautiful but functional landing pages and micro-sites. Other duties include producing/blasting email newsletters to members, managing our Facebook and Scribd content, integrating search and social media tools, and reporting stats.
You should be extremely detail-oriented, able to quickly work on multiple projects efficiently, communicate well, and love all things digital. We want someone with a proactive, independent spirit who also appreciates being a member of a cohesive creative team.
Our small group is comprised of designers, marketers, and ad managers. We operate like a lean, hungry start-up--we get a lot of work done quickly because we must--but within a larger, supportive company that is receptive to new ideas and skills. We have outstanding benefits and good hours, as well as the usual packages for every employee (401k, health, etc.).
Here's what we require of you:
--Stellar HTML, CSS and Javascript skills
--Experience producing medium/large scale websites at every stage, from wireframe and spec creation to testing and deployment
--A passion for current/emerging tech, web standards, and best practices
--Basic knowledge of PHP
--Extensive knowledge of Adobe CS5.5
--2-3 years of professional experience
It's a huge plus if you have experience with:
--SEO/SEM
--Wordpress theme creation
--Javascript UI libraries such as jQuery
--Optimizing websites for mobile platforms
--SQL
--Mobile development
--Flash
--Web video
--Email marketing
--Third-party APIs
--Analytics
