Position Overview

TRUSTe is seeking talented, experienced Test Automation Engineer to join its growing engineering team. You will take on complex and interesting problems as part of a fast-paced, highly collaborative team. If you like to work on interesting projects that impact the on-line privacy challenges facing millions of people and businesses everyday we want to talk to you. With the right skills and experience you will be become a key contributor to high-profile areas of development.

Responsibilities:

Development of test framework for a fast moving TRUSTe project.
Work with developers to integrate automated tests with end-to-end build and test environment
Assemble and understand QA metric; Identify problem areas in the product requiring developer attention.

Personal Attributes:

Experience of working in a start-up environment preferred
Self starter able to proactively solve problems and work without much supervision
Ability to test, develop, iterate on a rapid basis
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Understanding of latest innovations, trends and emerging technologies in QA testing and test methodology

Required Skills:

BS in computer science or a related field, or significant equivalent experience
3 years minimum experience with HTML/XHTML, JavaScript and CSS
3 years minimum development experience with Java & JUnit
3 years minimum experience with test and load automation frameworks
3 years minimum experience in testing cross browser compatibility and layout issues
3 years minimum experience testing backend infrastructure
Experience developing test cases for rapid prototypes and rapidly iterating designs
Working knowledge of Behavioral Driven Testing
Working knowledge of SQL
White-box and black-box testing experience
Ability to debug system issues and inspect log files

Desired Skills:

Experience testing within an Agile development environment
Experience working with relational database systems such as MySQL, MSSQL or PostGRES
Experience creating test frameworks with Selenium/Webdriver or JMeter.
Experience with BDT tools, i.e. JBehave
