Volt's Client has a Gaming Console Software team who is looking for a seasoned Software Test Engineer who can ramp up and quickly make an impact. Primary responsibilities include Test Case Generation and Manual Test Execution for a variety of Game Console related features. Day-to-Day activities will involve coordinating with team members, executing Manual Test Cases and reporting results through logging bugs.

This is an estimated 3 month Contingent/Temporary position in Redmond, WA with the possibility of an extension and offered through Volt Technical Resources which is located in Redmond, WA. Requirements:
Ideal candidates will have experience testing on Xbox and demonstrate depth in testing methodologies. The ideal candidate can execute manual test cases on an Xbox 360, understand how to look for bugs, experienced in looking for when bug regressions occurred and have excellent writing skills to detail how a bug is reproduced.

Software Test Engineer Qualifications:
5+ years of Testing experience including Test Planning and Test Execution
Xbox & Kinect experience
Team Foundation Server (TFR)
Visual Studio

Soft Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently

Bonus Skills:
Programming experience in C# or C++
Windows Live Account testing experience
Multimedia and Entertainment experience
