We are seeking a sharp, diligent, and quick learning individual who is looking for a challenging, yet rewarding, Linux server administrator role. This opportunity is one part IT and two parts High Frequency Trading where you will be trained and work directly with, experienced traders.

We are currently a rapidly growing global high-frequency trading firm with offices in New York, Hong Kong, San Francisco and Sydney; currently looking to expand our New York office. We are made up of 40 extremely talented and competent professionals that actively trade in multiple markets across the North American and Asian time zone with a focus on deploying automated equities and futures strategies.

Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for maintenance/support of Linux desktops, servers and network systems.
• Maintaining remote equipment and servers.
• Troubleshooting networks in real time.
• Front office operations (i.e. trading activities, hedging, monitoring automated trading strategies)
• Assisting with trading administration (i.e. P&L calculation and position reconciliation)
Desired Skills & Experience
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology
• Strong academic record
• 0 - 2 years work experience
• Background in networking
• Working knowledge of Linux desktop environments
• Strong communication skills
• Hardworking, diligent, an eye for detail, and SHARP
• Coachable and fast learner
• Programming skills, with knowledge of C++, Java or similar
