You will be responsible for delivering a rich user experience for Intuit's customers by designing, developing and building out the front doors web presence for intuit.com.
You will be part of a fast-paced, dynamic environment, which requires an energetic self-starter with creative approaches to solving complex problems. HARD SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
• BS or MS in Computer Science or relevant experience
• 3+ years experience building world class, public facing web applications. Please provide a portfolio of sites/applications you have built.
• Deep understanding of OOP and event-driven programming
• Proficient in (X)HTML, AJAX, the DOM, Object Oriented JavaScript and JS libraries, HTTP, HTML5, CSS3, W3C standards
• Experience in Ruby/ROR, PHP, Java, or other server side scripting and compiled languages
• In depth knowledge and application of industry best practices in rich web applications towards creating world class web experiences
• Knowledge of cross browser issues. Excellent debugging and trouble shooting skills.
SOFT SKILLS:
• Excellent teamwork skills. Flexibility and collaboration with cross functional groups.
• Excellent visual, verbal, and written communication skills
• Proactively guide, mentor and help other team members
• Ability to handle a fast paced environment for iterative project turnarounds on mission & revenue critical, customer facing applications and websites
