Looking for "Analyst/ Developer" for our end-client

Location: Kansas City

Duration: 6 months Contract to Hire

Job Description:

Under general supervision, the Application Analyst/developer modifies basic applications from detailed specifications.

Responsibilities include coding, testing, debugging, documenting and maintaining those documents. Assist with application upgrades and system support.

Non-Technical:

• Good oral and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Ability to connect business requirements to technical requirements
• Flexibility for on-call rotation 24X7
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize to meet target dates

Skills
• Database Platforms: DB2, Oracle, 3-5 years of experience
• Programming languages: C, Java, Javascript, 6-10 years of experience
• Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, 3-5 years of experience
• Experience with JSP, 3-5 years

Additional Skills
• Basic Mainframe experience a plus
• JDBC a plus
• Struts or Hibernate
