We are currently seeking talented Infrastructure Project Manager for our San Antonio, TX facility.

PURPOSE OF JOB

Participates in the planning, execution and delivery of moderately complex business projects under minimal supervision. May manage risk by using established project management processes to address execution challenges associated with quality, schedule and cost. Understands and begins to identify how project activities contribute to achieving strategic business goals and operational objectives.

JOB DUTIES

• Acquires and applies maturing knowledge of the business, its products and processes.
• Gathers information, analyzes data trends, and contributes to the completion of work product.
• Uses tools and techniques that may include process engineering and software delivery methods to increase overall project success.
• Actively participates in the development of project plans related to schedule, budget, scope and resources.
• Understands each project's critical path activities and contributes to risk management efforts on the project and consistently seeks creative alternatives to project challenges.
• Contributes to the process to define project plans and project deliverables.
• Begins to apply a variety of product/capabilities to the benefit of the project, sponsors, senior managers on all aspects of the project.
• Partners with others to drive adoption and challenges standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 6+ years IT work experience.
• Two or more years IT business support and/or general analysis experience.
• Basic knowledge of business data analysis tools.
• Basic knowledge of industry data/information sources.
• At least two years project management experience.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proven ability to handle / resolve conflict.
• Able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Ability to manage frequent change.
• MS Office experienced user.
• Well versed in Microsoft Project.
• Experience building project schedules.
• Experience with a project management scheduling software.

Preferred

• 5 years of IT Project Management experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.
• 3+ years of experience with structured analysis and design.
• Masters in Business Administration.
• Financial Services industry experience (e.g., property and casualty insurance, banking, investments, financial planning, or life insurance / annuities).
• Experience with industry software development methodologies.
• Experience leading large efforts or teams.
• Familiarity with Agile Methodology.
