We've been engaged by a dynamic and growing Industry Leader in downtown Minneapolis to recruit a Sr. Online Product Manager in a direct hire role. This person will oversee online products including: Web sites, portals, e-learning tools, social media, and mobile applications. Successful candidates will have experience developing product charters, maintaining roadmaps and defining product features based on external and internal needs. They will work closely with integrated design and development teams to deliver functionality that will ensure an exceptional online experience for our client's user base.

Responsibility Overview:
- Identify rich opportunities to develop new or improve existing online products and features.
- Employ a rigorous approach to prioritizing online product needs based on user research, marketing insights, competitive intelligence, business needs, and trends in online technology and user experience.
- Manage one or more online products, which comprise an extensive network of public and private Web sites, portals, blogs, forums, social networks, and mobile applications.
- Communicate product capabilities and successes to internal and external users. Interact with end users including online discussion boards and portals, multimedia presentations, social media, and occasional face-to-face interactions.
- Evaluate third-party products for potential integration with existing online product ecosystem.
- Manage total product performance (including traffic, user satisfaction, and financial value). Collaborate with partners across the organization to help guide investment decisions based on product performance and value.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the technical, user experience, business, and competitive landscape for an assigned online product.


Qualifications:
- Practical experience and sound theoretical understanding of relevant professional disciplines, including Product Management, Web design, Web authoring and publishing, information architecture, Web content strategy, usability and accessibility, user experience design.
- Fluency in Web technology, including front-end technology, back-end technology, social media, and mobile applications.
- Experience delivering Web experiences that meet user needs based on usability research, UX design and information architecture principles, and product management methodologies.
- Formal experience with one or more recognized Agile methodologies
- Bachelor's degree required (Graduate degree preferred.)
