Our Client is a twelve year old, global, 4000 person consultancy focused on delivering exceptional value and long term relationships through Open Source and proprietary solutions with dual or sole shore capabilities that is CMMI and ISO 27001 certified. They are seeking several seasoned Enterprise and/or Solutions Architects to support their open source software technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will have sound hands-on experience on implementing Big Data solutions using Apache Hadoop and related technologies

Locations: Santa Clara, CA, USA and Ahmedabad, India
Positions: 2 (USA), 2 (India)
Travel: Willing to travel in USA
Type of Job: Full time employment with attractive salary and benefits
Joining Date: Immediate

Base Salary: $100k - $140k

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related area
• Minimum 5 years of strong experience in software development
• Having at least 2 Enterprise level project implementations done using Hadoop and related technologies is a must
• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing solutions using Apache Hadoop, MapReduce, Hive, PIG, Hbase, Zookeeper, Flume, Scoop, Mahout and Apache Whirr
• Knowledge of data migration from Relational databases and file systems to HDFS/Hbase
• Experience with building and deploying Java applications using Apache Maven
• Well versed with Data warehouse, Business Intelligence and Analytics concepts. Must have used any industry standard tool for Business Intelligence.
• Experience in a Linux and Apache environment
