The Senior Java Developer is technically competent, has extensive knowledge and working experience in all aspects of application development, communicates effectively, and is able to work both independently and as part of a team collaborating on complex projects.

This position requires a self-starter with excellent communication skills.

Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years recent experience in java-centric software development.
• Senior level developer
• Languages/Platforms/Frameworks: Java/JEE, JSF, MVC, Spring, JPA, Hibernate, JUnit, log4j.
• Cross-cutting standards: XML/XSL/XSD, X/HTML, web services (SOAP/WSDL)
• Middleware: Apache web server, Tomcat
• Database solutions: Oracle, MySQL, SQL
• IDEs and Development Tools: IntelliJ, Subversion, Ant, Maven, Jetty
• Experienced with code versioning, branching and release methodologies
• Understanding of secure design and coding practices
