Job Title: Solutions Architect

Job Description:

Provide technical delivery consultation in the Application Delivery lifecycle from exploration, discovery, solution delivery to application warranty during transition to production and production support, maintenance and enhancement. Analyze project requirements and solution design to assure that system architecture is functionally appropriate, technically sound and well integrated in accordance with business user requirements, methods and standards throughout the project lifecycle. Review and approve the analysis and design of applications for medium to high complexity business problems according to user specifications and standards. Assist External Service Providers in developing detail program specifications. Responsible for research and review of technical solution alternatives, proposals for application solutions and the support and initial training of business users. Work closely with key stakeholders in IT, business and vendor community, partner with Business Systems Analysts (BSAs) and business user groups to identify and access enhancement requests. Mentor Software Development Engineers towards achieving command of the skills necessary to perform the technical tasks to the expert level. Lead and review technical inputs to business concept development by providing technical perspectives and insights about technical options and alternatives and manage business case cost estimates for technical options in business proposals.

Education: Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field followed by 5 years post baccalaureate progressive experience in the job offered software development, Information Technology, IT Systems Analysis and Implementation or related occupations.

Education and/or Experience must include:

1. Technical implementation and configuration of Oracle e-Business Suite in retail business domain where Real Estate Management, Order Management, Supply Chain and Finance ERP modules are used
2. Real Estate Management related software solution development and implementation
3. Complex heterogeneous applications and systems environment integration
4. Development on Oracle RDBMS relational database and the following operating systems: Unix, Windows, Linux and Solaris
5. Oracle Fusion Middleware
6. Delivering business applications using Oracle OAF/ADF, Oracle Forms/Reports, Oracle FND/AOL, Oracle EDI Gateway, Java/J2EE, PL-SQL, XML and BPEL as technologies/programming languages
7. SOA based integration working on EAI and Oracle AIA
8. Leading multiple projects through the Software development process or Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
