We are in urgent need of Java/J2EE Developers to fill multiple positions located in Riverview, FL

The Sr. Application Developer will be responsible for all phases of the software development lifecycle including mapping new features to meet requirements, and use many new technologies throughout the development process. This position will be responsible for meeting deliverables while maintaining attention to details, preserving quality standards and adhering to best practices.

Duties and Principal Responsibilities
• Work with other team members and business owners to develop business requirements into technical designs, to include documentation.
• Ensure the application platform is updated to meet business needs.
• Code using a proprietary scripting language in a development environment.
• Creation and execution of test plans.
• Responsible for oversight of the application through the SDLC.
• Responsible for application performance and management.
• Create project schedules, milestone goals, and task lists.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of Java application development work experience
• Knowledge of release management version and revision control practices and procedures
• Proficient knowledge of development life cycles
• Solid experience in Java design, coding, testing and debugging techniques
• Solid experience in enterprise level J2EE platforms using J2EE design patterns
• Experience consuming web services
• Experience with a relational database
• Strong SQL knowledge
