We're looking for a standout, passionate, resourceful Technology Manager to join our team. We need a leader who is comfortable managing a team of engineers, interacting with clients, and working closely with product and project managers, all in a highly dynamic environment. You will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of software development projects.
The right candidate is passionate, customer-focused, and technically savvy, with a strong web development background. You should have a track record of strong coding and individual technical accomplishments and have a demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of up to 20 engineers on fast-paced web development projects.
• Work with product and project managers to define scope, determine initial project estimates and timelines, and assist in the development of project documentation
• Guide the development team to create task lists and plans for each project
• Evaluate and plan mitigation for technical risks throughout the project lifecycle
• Monitor progress and clear obstacles as development progresses, propose solutions where needed to a variety of audiences
• Work with clients on day-to-day technical progress, questions and solutions throughout the lifecycle of the project
• Evaluate developers on the team, identifying strengths, problem areas, and developing plans for improving performance
• Some travel involved, typically 4-6 days per month or more.

• Excellent people/team management skills
• Excellent communication skills with a variety of audiences of various technical skill levels
• Experience with end-to-end management of large-scale web development projects
• Strong knowledge of software programming principles and components
