The Aspire Company, a San Jose-based marketing firm that provides solutions for a wide variety of businesses, is looking for a Graphic/Web Designer to support our continued growth. Our clients look to us on a regular basis for all kinds of design jobs--websites, brochures, print ads, event collateral and more.
Please not that this is a part-time, remote opportunity.
What you'll do:
- Liaise on a daily basis with the in-house marketing team to carry out design-led tasks
- Work independently to achieve team goals
- Complete assigned design tasks in a timely and fashionable manner
- Contribute to design briefs and share ideas with your peers
What you'll need:
- A strong working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash. Knowledge of InDesign would be an advantage but is not essential.
- An ability to work independently and prioritize your workflow while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of HTML, JQuery and CSS
- Knowledge of PHP and mysql a plus
- Keen knowledge of design with a particular focus on web design including latest trends and a willingness to learn
-The ability to work hard and be a team player
- Enthusiasm in your mentality and approach to your work
- Ability to come up with creative ideas from what can sometimes be one-line briefs
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced internet marketing company or digital agency
- Ability to translate complex information into custom graphs is a plus.
