Business Services Configuration Specialist
Responsibilities:
Schedule daily work load with keen consideration to site audit and installation dates.
Reconcile orders within customer database as they relate to Fibernetics accounting system and other order paperwork.
Configure and test modems and switches for deployment at commercial sites.
Provision servers and VoIP phones.
Note accounts with product serial numbers.
Receive and test RMA units to confirm defective in accordance with Business Services. RMA policies.
Reformat or reconfigure devices as applicable for redeployment.
Pick required hardware required for order fulfillment from stock, break down boxes as required, perform other warehouse functions.
Skills / Experience:
Although the role may seem quite technical, it's simply following process/instruction so ability to understand instructions and confidence in asking questions is extremely important.
Good role for someone with project coordination experience.
Experience scheduling and / or work order fulfillment an asset.
Basic knowledge of Voip an assest, or a demonstrated interest in learning.
Strong data entry and organizational skills.
Attention to detail is important.
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks.
Ability to turn focus on a dime.
Efficient time management and escalation skills.
