The Desktop Support Technician should have the following skill set:



- Minimum of two years experience in administrative and technology or other direct equivalent experience

- Strong Microsoft Windows (XP, Win7) experience

- Provide computer (Hardware and Software) support to users, including C-level employees.

- Experience with basic Active Directory operations and support.

- Experience with protocols such as LDAP, DHCP, DNS.

- Experience with IP addressing and basic network concepts such as LAN, WAN, switching and routing.

- Experience with installing, supporting, and troubleshooting user applications, specifically MS Office 2010 and AutoCad.

- Ability to answer user questions and resolve problems within area of expertise. Analyze information from customers to determine the next appropriate action and escalate when necessary

- Experience with resolving incidents through remote desktop applications

- Experience with deploying desktop images for new hires

- Monitor helpdesk queue and resolve tickets

- Perform support for Anti Virus incident management to resolution
