FULL-TIME OUTBOUND TELEMARKETER NEEDED FOR IT STAFFING SALES

Founded in 1996, Staff IT is a national IT staffing firm with offices in midtown Manhattan, Princeton, NJ and corporate headquarters in Melville, NY. We are a privately held multi-million dollar firm that is well funded and looking to grow the business aggressively.

We are actively searching for outbound telemarketing professionals to operate out of our corporate headquarters in Melville, NY. This role calls for a true phone warrior who wants to develop their professional skill set in the rapidly growing field of technology. We will provide you with a script and will train you on how to handle situations that will arise as you call on technology end-users.

You will be working alongside our Sales Manager to generate new clients, while assisting with the management of current accounts. We are looking for people to make both warm and cold calls on a daily basis and are always focused on customer service. This position offers a career path into a sales role that we will train you for.

Key Responsibilities of this Position:

• You will be responsible for generating orders for IT consultants from our existing database of technology end-users, such as Help Desk Managers, Network Managers, Programming Directors and Directors of Infrastructure to name a few.
• You will be required to make 50 -70 calls per day to an existing target list.
• Ideally you will be generating 5-7 quality leads per day.
• You will also be doing web research to develop new leads, find new sources of contacts and searching job sites for potential leads for orders.
• Building, maintaining and managing a target account list of staffing contacts.
• Horizontal selling at established clients to C-level executives.
• Direct follow-up and manage on-going follow up with prospects.
• Prepare for sales calls, including coordination of the team selling effort.
• Detail oriented, strong analytical, numerical, planning and reasoning abilities.

Preferred, but not mandatory traits include:

• Four year degree a plus
• 2+ years telemarketing or tele-sales experience in a corporate technology environment
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Entrepreneurial attitude: self-motivated, self-directed
• Ability to work independently and with a team
