Title: Software Engineer
Location: Minnetonka, MN

Summary:

Primary Responsibilities:
This position develops and maintains system software for the company's line of in-vehicle products. You will be involved in development of applications that include real-time data, user interaction and communications.
• Develop software in a Windows /.NET environment using C#
• Ensures work-product is of high quality through the use of best practices such as code documentation and the use of automated code analysis tools
• Participates in the requirements gathering, requirement analysis, design, code, test and maintenance phases of software product development lifecycle.
• Takes responsibility for cross platform (on-board and display system) design and development
• Provides technical input to the department's strategic operating plans and product migration plans
• Understands various software development life-cycle models

Required Skills:
• BS in CS, CE, Electrical Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer developing commercial applications.
• Commercial experience developing Windows software in a .NET environment using C#
• Expert in software version control concepts
• Expert in iterative software development processes
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Preferred Skills:
• MS degree in a related discipline will be considered in lieu of experience.
• Windows CE experience
