We are seeking a hands on IT Desktop Support Manager to take charge of the overall IT infrastructure of our Hartford, CT location.
Responsibilities Include:


Troubleshooting
Desktop Support
Networking Support
Installation of new hardware/software
Documentation of all internal site hardware/software/networking
Backup strategies
Enforcement of all employment policies and procedures
Selection and vetting of equipment, software, telephony, networking vendors
Supervising of all internal installations
Skills and Knowledge Desired:


Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science or MIS related field
7+ years supporting Windows 2003 Server, XP
Experience with Windows Networking, Active Directory, VPN, Firewall, DNS and Network Routing
Audio/Video engineering experience a plus
Strong experience with Telco and PBX systems (NEC PBXes is a plus)
Minimum of 2 years experience with Cisco Networking equipment
Strong communication and organizational skills
