Our Client's Functional Support Group is looking for a JD Edwards Business Analyst knowledgable in the HR/Payroll, Employee Management and Time Management functionality to support their JDE E1 implementation . This is an exciting career advancement position where the Analyst will be responsible for software configuration, documenting configuration decisions, performing compliance audits for adherence to established business processes in a supportive company environment.

You will be taking a leadership role in providing end user training on the effective use of JDE around the HR functionality. Our client offers you an opportunity to ehance your JDE knowledge by conducting research, developing implementation modification proposals, and assisting in the development and/or enhancements in support of their business processes.

Responsibilities:

As the HR Support Business Analyst you will:

• Provide input and advice regarding JDE configuration and business functions to internal clients on the Payroll, Employee Management & Time Management functionality of JDE;
• Build positive end user relationships by developing an understanding of their business and project needs, supporting both existing users and new users of the system
• Anticipate problems and resolve them in order to ensure that the daily business operations are maintained
• Provide break-fix analysis and support for resolving complex user how to questions,
work with project teams and the Oracle vendor to troubleshoot functional application issues
• Participate in the development of new processes and procedures for the various business units
• Stay current on latest JDE functionality and proactively suggest system improvements
• Participates in various company initiatives

Qualifications:

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following characteristics:
• An undergraduate degree or diploma
• Experience in a post production support team
• Demonstrated experience working with the following modules: Payroll, Employee Management & Time Management
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail
• Good interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
• Excellent presentation skills
• Demonstrated computer skills, preferably in MS Office Suite
• Solid history of success at work
• Strong analytical skills
• Proven leadership and team building abilities
