The People Source has an immediate opening for one VB.Net Application Development Specialist with our rapidly expanding DTC client. The ideal candidate will work on our client's production applications doing VB.NET development for both Windows and Web plus some report development and customer/vendor data integrations. Developers with equivalent C# experience, wiling to write VB.NET are acceptable.

Required Experience:
• Minimum of 4 years software development using experience using the MSFT .NET platform with VB.NET as the primary language
• Minimum of 2 years developing against Microsoft SQL Server databases
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent experience

Preferred Experience
• Coding experience with both VB.NET and C#
• Web development with CSS, ASP.Net, VB.Net, ADO.Net and MapQuest
• Writing Windows services for the exchange of data with internal and external endpoints
• Infragistics library implementation
• Writing reports using ActiveReports
• Microsoft Access Forms Development/Maintenance
• Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
• Ability to communicate design decisions/recommendations based on logical/technical arguments
• Experience analyzing business requirements to design, document and implement technical solutions
• Strong object-oriented analysis and design skills.
