Who are we looking for?

We are looking to add a strong Developer to join our exciting team of creative individuals. The person in this position will be coding on a daily basis. Should have rapid development skills, to create API in PHP for SQL Server or MySQL. Candidates should have a strong understanding of PHP, XML, HTML, CSS, & JavaScript, and AJAX and a firm background on how general internet services work and interact. Developers with .net experience is a plus. Candidates should have be 3 to 5 years of experience developing web services. Candidates should also have experience developing for Rich Media projects in conjunction with a Flash Developer. Understanding web based security concerns is also desired. Knowledge of Drupal strongly desired.

Key Responsibilities:

Website back-end development / Application architecture & programming
Database design & maintenance
Server configuration and maintenance
Working collaboratively on creative marketing solutions that leverage technology
Staying current with the latest industry, technology, and marketing trends
Working with our Web Designer on front-end interface development and production
Key Requirements:

Must present a portfolio of web based projects
Four year college degree and/or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Web Development, Programming, or equivalent.
At least 5 years experience as a developer
Experience managing supply chain, inventory web-based and/or ecommerce systems
Strong technical, analytical, and organizational skills
Very strong knowledge of .PHP, SQL Server (2000 / 2005) or MySQL (2000+)
Strong knowledge programming languages: XML, HTML, CSS, & JavaScript
Ability to code HTML classically (with tables for layout structure) and with more current XHMTL & CSS standards -- Web 3.0
Ability or interest in learning to code against new Open Source applications
Interpersonal savvy and communication skills
Knowledge of information architecture methods
Knowledge of Flash and/or Flex and Actionscript 2 or 3
Programming languages (ASP, JSP, AJAX, etc)
Knowledge of GUI usability standards and testing methods
Ability to learn and understand changing technology
Ability to demonstrate sound judgment
Able to function independently in a fast paced environment of multiple priorities
Committed to providing a high level of customer service
Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop preferred
Ability to understand direction and independently perform all duties efficiently and effectively
