Computer Network Systems Engineer

The core responsibility of this position is to design, install, and support wide and local area networks and all associated equipment for our clients including routers, switches, hubs, file servers & firewalls. The position also requires working as a team in a pre-sales role to assist sales in evaluating client system needs and developing technical specifications. In addition, the person filling the role of network engineer will serve in a consulting capacity, providing clients project management and identifying ways to improve system performance.

::Qualifications, Experience, & Abilities::
-Microsoft Certified MCSE /or/ Novell Certified CNE/MCNE Engineer
-Citrix, Cisco, VMWare, and other hardware installation/support certifications a plus
-Demonstrated ability to support, install, configure and troubleshoot a WAN/LAN environment
-Microsoft and Exchange Server administration and implementation
-Support knowledge for all Windows client workstations

::Experience with the following is a plus::
-A strong working knowledge/understanding of Cisco router configuration
-Switch configuration (Cisco and HP)
-VPN configuration
-CITRIX administration and implementation
-Good verbal and written communications skills
-Ability to prioritize tasks and be a self starter
-Ability to execute all job responsibilities and assignments promptly, reliably, honestly, and ethically.
-Three (3) years of experience in a related IT profession.
