My client is seeking an experienced Customer Service Engineer (CSE) reporting to the Director of Engineering. Immediate placement, NOT contract.

This position has broad technical responsibilities and significant contact with end use customers. He or she will be responsible for troubleshooting gas turbine system problems (control, mechanical, and electrical) in the field and driving RRCA. Strong customer service skills and the ability to drive problems to conclusion with a sense of urgency are key performance characteristics required for this position. Examples of responsibilities include:
- Work in organization that is responsible for all technical issues associated with the PWPS industrial gas turbine product line, including working with P&W CIPT engineers where interface is required.
- Providing input to improve new product design, based on field experience and customer input
- Coordinating the issuance of Service Bulletins to address product improvements and field issues
- Work with PWPS Customer Service Managers (CSM's) and end use Customers to understand field issues
- Make presentations to Customers and management, and coordinate field and failure investigations.
- Assist in the resolution of field problems by providing timely responses to internal/external customer's requests and questions.
- Present major issues and solutions to internal & external customers and/or program management teams at various high-level meetings including the annual FT8 World Conference.
- Support the Integrated Product Management Team (IPMT) process in coordination and implementation of action plans to ensure engine fleet safety, reliability, maintainability and supportability.
- Travel to assist customer on-site, as required
- Develop new, and improve existing fault isolation/troubleshooting procedures for FT8 Fleet. Coordinate changes with internal & external approving authorities.
- Active use of the ACE operating system to perform duties.


Candidates Must Have:
?BS degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is required.
?Minimum of six (6) years of gas turbine engineering or power plant experience is required.
?Experience in industrial gas turbines and a background in engineering techniques is required.
